Bring a current referral from your GP or specialist. Referral validity and Medicare eligibility should be confirmed with the practice before your appointment.

2. Preparing for your consultation

Please bring a medication list, relevant reports, recent results and the contact details of health professionals involved in your care. It may also help to note the main concerns or questions you would like to discuss.

3. Privacy and coordinated care

Your consultation is confidential. Clinical information may be communicated to your referring doctor or other treating professionals when appropriate to your care and consistent with legal and privacy obligations.

4. Appointments and cancellations

Patients are responsible for keeping track of appointment dates and contacting the practice as early as possible if a change is needed. Ask reception for the current cancellation policy.

5. Prescriptions, letters and forms

An appointment is required for prescriptions, medication changes, medical certificates, letters and clinical forms.

6. Medico-legal reports

Dr Kanodia does not provide written reports for medico-legal purposes, including WorkCover claims, insurance, Defence or DVA matters, or other legal and administrative purposes.

7. Ethical practice statement

Assessments and opinions are independent and evidence-based. Prior reports, questionnaires and information from other clinicians form only part of the clinical picture. Diagnosis and treatment recommendations follow a comprehensive assessment, available history, current evidence and Dr Kanodia’s independent clinical judgement.
